If you have any problem given below, regarding a child, the Department of Probation and Child Care Services is at your service to find out solutions for them.
For this purpose, the services of our officers are made available at each and every Divisional Secretariat in the country.
If there is a situation of the Rights of the child being violated legally,
If a child is subject to child abuse and delinquency
If a child is deployed in child labour
If the child is in need of rehabilitation subsequent to him/her being subject to sexual abuse or any other misdeed
If avenues for child’s health and development are blocked up,
If the child’s right to education has to be safeguarded
If a child is faced with some unforeseen disaster and needs any assistance (Twin Birth, special medical assistance, sudden natural disaster)
If there is a need for you to get awareness or to organise an awareness programme for people in you area, on any of the above items
If you wish as a foster mother or father to contribute to Sevana Sarana Foster Parent Scheme implemented by the Department Probation and Child Care Services or also if you have any problem related to the above programme
